Kim Jones Uses Only Black Models for New Dior Homme Presentation in a Brand First

With the first digital haute couture fashion week officially done, the fashion industry’s attention has turned to the menswear shows for Spring 2021 – which are also happening online. And one of the Spring 2021 season’s most talked about presentations comes courtesy of Kim Jones for Dior Homme. For the first time in the house’s history, the collection features only Black models.

Speaking to The Guardian about the collection, Jones said the collection is “not political” adding that he and Ghanaian artist Amoako Boafo, with whom the collection is a collaboration, “started this back in December.” He continued, “One of things designers can do is [reflect] the time they are in. For me, diversity is a natural thing: a reflection of the wider world.”

Jones and Boafo met in Miami last year during Art Basel and struck up an immediate friendship. In one of the accompanying videos for the collection, Jones said of the decision to work together: “I really, really, really love his work and I wanted to work with an African artist for a long time because I grew up in Africa and African art is something that has always been important to me.” Boafo also shared that fashion inspires his work, noting that the most interesting part of the collaboration was “how they are able to transfer my [painting] technique on to clothes.”

The collection, called Portrait of an Artist, is a merging of Boafo’s prints with Jones’ designs which Jones says is “exciting.” Speaking with British Vogue he explained, “You have a Breton stripe underneath an Amoako print so it’s a French, Ghanaian, Dior, Amoako vibe, all existing together. It’s an exchange. I think people need to educate themselves as to who their consumers are, and realize that people from all different parts of the world can create something much more exciting.”

Rihanna Announces Launch Date for Fenty Skin

Update (July 14, 2020): If, like us, you’ve been eagerly awaiting more news of Rihanna’s Fenty skincare line then you are in luck. Today, Rihanna has officially announced the launch date for the new range – and it’s coming up fast. A new page on the Fenty Beauty website announces the launch of Fenty Skin on July 31, describing it as “the new culture of skincare.” Social media channels for the new line have also been created on Instagram, Facebook. Twitter, TikTok and YouTube. Can’t wait until July 31 to get your hands on the line? Fans can sign up for early access to the collection on July 29. We’ll see you at the checkout.

Original (March 31, 2020): Listen up Fenty fans, the news you’ve been waiting for has finally arrived: Fenty Skincare is coming.

Rihanna confirmed that she is expanding her billion dollar beauty business to include skincare “imminently” according to a new interview with British Vogue.  “Skincare, it’s the truth. It either works or it doesn’t. There’s nowhere to hide,” she said of the pressure to create skincare products that actually perform.

Rumours of a skincare line began circulating last year following a trademark filing for “Fenty Skin” which included “medicated and non-medicated skincare, soap, body care and personal care products and related accessories such as kits, tools and applicators.”

It’s no secret that Rihanna is incredibly hands-on when it comes to her brands, especially Fenty Beauty. Born in 2017, the beauty brand has since taken off and was responsible for ushering in a new era of inclusive beauty. This, Rihanna says, was unexpected. “I’m shocked by people saying, ‘Oh my god, what made you think of making makeup for black girls?’ I’m like, ‘What? You thought this was like, a marketing strategy? Like I’m a genius?’ It’s shocking most of the time. Then it turns into disappointment that this is groundbreaking right now. In my mind, this was just normal.”

She also confesses that everything you see on the Fenty Beauty site and products comes from her. “I write all the copy for the websites, the product descriptions, product names, the colour names… I do have a huge team but I just don’t necessarily think their tone is mine. I’d feel like a fraud selling something that I can’t stand by.”

There was no mention of an official launch date for Fenty Skincare but we suspect this new launch would be very well received by Fenty fans right now. Well, that and/or an album. Over to you RiRi.

London Fashion Week to Go Ahead With Physical Shows in September

The British Fashion Council (BFC) has announced that London Fashion Week will go ahead with physical shows in September. The official dates for the gender-neutral showcase have been announced as Thursday September 17 to Tuesday September 22.

Taking to Instagram to share the news, the BFC outlined that social distancing measures will be in effect for the physical shows, and that there will also be a digital component. “The event will include both digital activations on londonfashionweek.co.uk and physical, under government social distancing guidelines. A provisional schedule will be announced later this summer.” The digital platform – which was introduced in June for the Spring 2021 men’s shows – “will continue to host exclusive multimedia content and will be available to both a consumer and trade audience, enabling collaboration and bringing together fashion, culture and technology.”

Burberry announced in late June that it is to hold a physical runway show in September in London, however it will have no audience. Speaking of the decision, designer Riccardo Tisci said, “You know, there is nothing like the experience of being at a fashion show – the energy in the room, the anticipation, excitement, it is something beautiful that I would not want to see lost. But we must recognize that the world is changing, and we must adapt and redefine our landscape through new forms of expression. Ultimately, to me, it will always be important to keep a physicality to fashion, to be able to see and understand the texture and movements of clothes, but in new ways.”

The announcement also follows similar news out of Milan and Paris with both cities having previously announced a mix of physical and digital shows for September. Stay tuned for more information.

Ramble Happy – The Adventure Begins.

Ramble Happy has been created to encourage mindfulness, exploring the great outdoors and capturing the moment through beautiful photography.

Rambling is a great way to get fresh air, exercise, loose or maintain weight loss and to get the body moving without having to indulge in anything too strenuous. It’s also a great way to practise mindfulness. Whether that’s simply planning your day or having time to think something through. It can give you the opportunity to turn negative thoughts into positives and to create a happy place within yourself. It’s also a chance to discover new and beautiful places you may never have never known about. To witness the changing seasons and nature at its most wild. Whether you are rambling in a city centre or the deepest depths of the countryside. Rambling really can make a change to your life, for the better!

It was performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2019 when I discovered rambling. I’ve been in the entertainment business for over twenty years. Staring out in musical theatre, performing abroad and on cruise ships. I eventually turned to comedy, creating a fictional character called Kevin Cruise. I’ve now spent over ten years working the comedy and cabaret circuit, holiday parks and festivals. For the last three years I’ve also been taking on the mantle of Mr Martin – Basil Brush’s right-hand man and stooge, performing all over the UK.

Over the years my anxiety, when it comes to performing, has gradually increased. You’d think after twenty years it would be the opposite, but strangely not. My anxiety has never affected me to an extent that it’s caused me to cancel work, but enough for me to be aware of something going on and making me think about the negatives and worst case scenarios. I knew that I would eventually have to try and manage this if I wanted to keep performing.

I’ve performed at hundreds of holiday parks, theatres and festivals. In 2019 we were set to perform ‘Unleashed’ a new Basil Brush show for grown-ups at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Twenty-eight performances with two extra late-night shows all SOLD OUT in a three hundred seat venue! We were working with a new writing team and producers.

I’m so use d to getting into character as Kevin Cruise, and even with the Basil Brush kid’s shows I have an element of a “side-kick character.” With our new grown up show I
really was just… me! Something I hadn’t done for a very long time.

I knew this whole situation would increase my anxiety, so I decided to join a gym and spa for the month. I had no intention of doing workouts, but wanted to swim, use the jacuzzi, and have some ‘Me time’ in what is known as a mad and stressful month for all performers.

So, I starting going to the gym every morning without fail. But, it turned out the walk to the gym was a 5 mile round trip!

By the time I’d reached the gym everyday I’d already had time to put myself in a positive place. Time to think through any issues that could stop me embracing the day, enjoying the experience of being at the festival and not stressing and panicking about the show ahead. I can spend days over analysing a show that has already been or is upcoming, creating a well rounded feeling of dread and fear. By doing this walk I’d already put myself in a good place. Understandably my swims got shorter and the walks got much longer!

After a while I started to walk more, heading out of the town. I’d ramble over and around Arthur’s Seat and through some of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen in any city. I felt euphoric, enlightened, energised and, as a bonus, I dropped weight! A lot of weight. I’ve joined endless amounts of gyms in the past, been on every diet plan that’s popular and even though I may have, at times, seen some results, everything felt forced, an effort and none of the results have ever lasted. Bizarrely so many things felt right about this new hobby or “life change ” I was experiencing. I had, by accident, became a rambler and I LOVED IT!

Once returning home to Windsor that Autumn, I kept the rambling up. Sometimes a few long rambles a week. Other times short rambles every day. Sunrise, sunset, midday… I made it fit into my day’s activities. If I had a busy day I’d make sure I was in bed early and up early to fit it in. When I had a gig near the seaside, I’d leave early to ramble for a few hours.

I started documenting my rambles on social media and discussing the pleasure it gave me. For the first time in my life I was witnessing the change in the seasons. The way the environment and nature changes and adapts to the Autumn. I had favourite trees, wildlife and parts of the local river. I’d jump out of bed if I woke early and could see a beautiful sunrise on its way. Even if the weather is shocking there is something wonderful about walking in a gale-force wind. Hiding from the rain, taking a moment to embrace your wild surroundings, scent of nature and the smell of the rain.

This was also helped by my love of art and photography. Picking up my ‘big’ camera once again and capturing the beauty of nature was a dream.

“What I love about photography and walking is that it makes you look at everything with different eyes. Hunting and searching for the perfect pic. A snapped branch, a feather in a puddle, a wonky roof top or a formation of rocks. You really do have your eyes wide open and soak up everything on your ramble. You don’t just look at a tree. You look into it, through it, how it sits within its surroundings.”

I learnt very quickly that there is always something that surprises you in nature. Something that you can’t believe you are learning for the first time.

I started to receive messages from friends and family telling me they have been inspired by my social media postings and have started to ramble or take a few moments of the day to get out and about. Country walks, rambles across the beach, City hikes or just walking to work and leaving the car.

As a gigging performer I travel all over the UK and it doesn’t matter where you are there is always somewhere to ramble. It’s also a great time to put the headphones on and listen to music, podcasts or radio. I’m always listening to long forgotten albums from my youth on Spotify. It can be a lot of fun when you also would quite like to switch off from certain thoughts. Or it can be a chance to ramble with a friend. Phones off. Catch up without being interrupted by life.

I don’t think I have ever stuck to anything like I have rambling. It must mean, it works for me!

Fast forward a year and we are faced with a terrible and challenging time of COVID-19. I had an entire year of gigs lined up. Over 100 dates in total. With Kevin Cruise gigs and Basil Brush theatre shows, it was to be one of my busiest years. The Coronavirus hit and I had everything canceled. A bursting work diary completely cleared.

As my friends and family know, I was never going to let the current situation get me down. I’ve wanted to create a platform to discuss my anxiety, performance nerves and mindfulness, for a long time now.

“My new love of rambling felt like it had tied this entire thing into a bow. Having time to think, plan and create has been a blessing.”

I think the lockdown has been a catalyst for many people. A time to reflex and recharge and think about our lives and how we wish to move forward. Well, here it is. Ramble Happy. Turning a horrid and worrying time into something positive.

When it came to coming up with a name, Ramble Happy was to be the mothership, a brand that I can document this adventure under, and I came up with many different ideas. Walking seemed too generalised and hiking seemed too specialised. Rambling is a word that has many meanings and I feel it fitted perfectly.

“Rambling to me seems to be more of an adventure, never sure where it may take you. Physically and mentally.”

I have a lot of exciting things planned for Ramble Happy – including our first Ramble event planned for August. I would love for you to come along on the journey. I’d love for us all to share our favourite rambles, what’s on our minds, the music we listen to, the things we see and the photos we take.

If you have any questions, advice or ideas please feel free to message me on here or any of the social media platforms. I’d love to hear your stories. Have you been inspired by my rambles or photography? Where have you rambled recently that you think I should try?

Whether you are doing short walks or mountain hikes, let’s get moving, let’s get our minds in gear and Ramble Happy together.

Lots of love
Martin

7 Things to Do When You’ve Got to Much On Your Plate

We know that we don’t have the time, we know that we are already overwhelmed, we know that we shouldn’t, and yet we keep on doing it—we overschedule. Life can become very stressful very quickly when you have to juggle too many responsibilities.

When you have too much on your plate, it’s easy to think that your only options are to start breathing into a paper bag or crawl under your desk.

Luckily, they are not. When you are feeling buried under a mountain of responsibilities, here are a few things you can do to take back control.

Get a Planner

A planner is a must-have—it is not even an option. Things can quickly fall apart without it. Write down and plan out dates for your tasks and responsibilities as soon as you get a date for them.

A planner can keep you prepared and organized for every day of the week. Sometimes, simply putting everything on paper is the best trick there is.>

Prioritize

Prioritizing is key to staying organized, and it’s much easier when you have a planner or scheduler in hand. The best thing to do is to start prioritizing as soon as you start feeling overwhelmed.

To see how and where you should get started, sort your tasks into a logical order. A simple matrix concept should do the trick when you are in doubt. Draw a square on a piece of paper and divide it into four parts.

Write “Not Important” and “Important” above the boxes. Then, write “Not Urgent” and “Urgent” next to the left side of the boxes.

Place the tasks you need to get done in the appropriate boxes. Naturally, you should start off with tasks that are ranked as both “Important” and “Urgent.” This method will allow you to speed things up a bit.

Focus on Value

Most likely, there are a few routines and tasks that clutter up your day. Chances are, you do them simply because you’ve always done them—not because they are essential.

Focus on the value each task offers when you are putting together your to-do list. Considering the grand scheme of things, is that item really important? This may allow you to cross out some of the items on your list altogether.

Get Enough Sleep

Sleep has a big impact on our mental capacity and energy levels, yet we rarely think about this. You may think sleep is a time-waster because your presentation, assignment, homework, or essay are due in three days, but it is still vital.

You won’t get any work done when you are exhausted. If you keep yourself up all night to do something, you will get even less work done.

Sleep is a great way to heal your mind during a frustrating and disheartening time, but falling asleep can be hard when you are under stress.

Still, there are ways you can make sure you’ll get enough of that much-needed shut-eye. Instead of trying to distract yourself by watching TV, you can use relaxation techniques or natural sleep aids to fall asleep faster.

Delegate What You Can

Don’t be afraid to turn to a coworker or a friend for help. If the tasks on your planner don’t actually need to be done by you, consider delegating them to someone trustworthy.

Depending on someone else every now and then doesn’t mean you will make a habit of always asking others to take care of your work. Besides, you can always offer to return the favor.

If you don’t have someone who can take on part of the workload, there are still some solutions you can try. If you need to complete pesky, repetitive tasks that require manual labor, you can employ automated solutions.

Plan Ahead and Notify

Even with a well-crafted plan of attack, you may need to prioritize things. Your workload may be too much for you to handle even after you have narrowed it down. If that happens, you need to get proactive.

Determining whether you are going to miss any deadliness is the next key step. Instead of frantically sending emails at midnight, try to give advanced warnings of any probable delays. Notify the relevant people as soon as you can.

Don’t Be Afraid to Say No

It is not always possible to do everything you want to do or everything that’s assigned to you at the same time—despite your best intentions. You need to learn how to say no in cases like these.

Of course, this is easier said than done. You may feel like you’ll be disappointing the other person by saying no. After all, we are wired to please others

But if you are not able to devote enough time to them without stressing yourself, explain the situation and say no. This will give them enough time to figure out what step to take next. You can rest assured that they will appreciate it.

Meet Stephen Muzzonigro: Kundalini Instructor & Bringer of Light

Get to know the fresh faces on the Wanderlust TV platform, like Stephen Muzzonigro, a Wanderlust Hollywood teacher who teaches Kundalini classes, as well as binaural beat meditations. Find his classes on Wanderlust TV here.

When was the first time you tried the practice?

I tried Kundalini for the first time more than 25 years ago after seeing a notice up in the then-new local crystal Stephen Mbookstore in Huntington, NY. I’ve always been curious about all things unseen, however, this bookstore was truly the portal into exploring all things “spiritual” as an adult. So I attended this really cool, slightly weird-sounding class and it just so happened that four days later was the White Tantric summit in NYC. Without hesitation I attended the Tantric and it wound up being one of the most powerful experiences of my life! Not to mention that White Tantrics are a very advanced form of Kundalini and I had absolutely no idea we would be doing 31 and 62 minute kriyas (with my new teacher checking to make sure my posture was perfect). It was a very beautiful and powerful experience… but ouch!!

What changes have you noticed in your self since you began a steady practice?

The most profound change I’ve seen in my life with a regular practice of Kundalini is an enhanced sense of intuition which enables me to see things for what they truly are. Subtlety is another big part of the practice and for sure it’s been an incredible journey finding different ways to show up each day with more and more grace and refinement. It’s been my experience that with deeper and more regular practice, synchronicities and magical alignments become the norm. Your outer world begins to reflect the depth you reach both within yourself and on the mat (or sheepskin in this case) 🙂 I’d say all that, plus a greater capacity to love others.

In what way are you finding your practice a refuge, or therapeutic, or a means of connecting at this time?

Stephen MEach time we make the commitment to get on our mats and “do the work” I believe we are enlisting to something even greater than we may be aware. With all the craziness going on, there’s nothing like taking a break from it all and tapping into that vast place of power and stillness deep within. I believe we’re all feeling the pressures of these times and perhaps one of the best remedies we can access is the power of community and connection in a time when we’ve been cut off from one another. That being said, there’s a certain exhilaration and excitement knowing that on whatever given days we’ll be coming together to practice… letting go of our worries for a moment and finding that place of neutrality and balance once again.

What is the intention you carry as you share these sessions online with Wanderlust TV? What essence are you hoping is transmitted through the practice that goes beyond just watching someone on a screen?

Beyond all the physiological benefits of the practice, it’s my wish that—at least for a few minutes each day—we simply drop our individual concerns for a moment and catch a glimpse of that subtle awareness that connects us all. What a miracle and blessing it is to be alive. Coming together for some breathing, bending & chanting… especially during these times of incredible change. My prayer is that we finally awaken to the infinite power that resides within us all, while at the same time remembering we’re all one consciousness having an individual experience. It’s truly such an honor connecting through this medium: sharing, evolving, and expanding together as one world family.

Stephen M Stephen Muzzonigro, originally from NY, is one of LA’s most dynamic Kundalini Yoga instructors, having taught hundreds of classes over the past 6 years. Currently he can be found teaching at Wanderlust Hollywood as a KRI Certified Level I & II Kundalini Instructor. His greatest passion is helping individuals remember their birthright as powerful creators awakening to their infinite potential. 6 Wonderful Winter Workout Ideas to Keep You Fit Amidst the Cold

The months of June to August are the typical winter months for Australia and on any other year, fitness-conscious Australians would be flocking the gym in search of warmth during workouts.

Unfortunately, that’s not case here as gyms are likely to be still closed until September according to experts – so what should you do to keep fit? Here are some options for winter workouts.

Go Heavy with Cardio

Indoor cardio is perfectly possible with little to no equipment. Depending on the amount of space you have, your exercises can be through jumping jacks, burpees, power squats, mountain climbers, and of course – planking.

There’s no need to alternate – you can find a workout you like and commit to doing that every day for the following months. If you’re the kind who gets bored easily however, you can mix and match these routines to keep you entertained.

The great thing here is that since you are in complete control, you can measure your progress based on repetition or the amount of time you spent on the exercise. As long as you’re moving forward, there should be no problem.

Create a Mini Gym with Cheap Equipment

There’s no need to spend hundreds for a treadmill or a stationary bike. Even simple equipment can provide excellent workouts especially if used correctly. Here are some small and relatively cheap items you can add to a home gym:

• Resistance bands
• Dumbbells
• Jump rope
• Exercise ball
• Yoga mat

Utilize Your Home

It’s also possible to get a great workout just by utilizing what you have in your own home. For example, going up and down the stairs every day will give you good cardio for the day – not to mention it can help tone up those legs and lift up the buttocks. Look out the yard and make a commitment to shovel snow every day.

This won’t just keep your arms slim but also keep your outdoors safe from excessive piles of ice. Maybe de-ice the roof while you’re at it, or reorganize the room and de-clutter. Not only do these tasks give you a good workout, they also contribute to the overall status of your home.

Yoga, Stretching, and Meditation

Who says your workout has to be pumping hard? There are routines that give you the calorie burn you need without excessive strain. Yoga and stretching workouts are perfect for the average living room size, allowing you to get those muscles moving and boost blood circulation.

These routines can also help stop you from going crazy indoors as the disciplines focus more on mental workouts.

Use a 30-Day Free Workout Routine

If you’re the kind of person who just needs to have a system to follow, you can easily find effective programs online. YouTube offers several 30-day playlists of beginner workouts, Pilates, yoga, HIIT, and more.

If you have several devices, you can also play workout music for added motivation – which can also be found through this free platform. There are also downloadable apps that have a 30-day workout program that can help you target specific body parts.

Take Up an Ice-Friendly Sport

If you’re lucky enough to have a nearby ice-skating area, then perhaps it’s time to get into the sport. Breeze your way through the ice while giving yourself a good workout.

There’s a reason why ice skaters have such beautiful legs, they spend their days pumping those muscles on the ice – and you could be, too. You can also opt for sledding or really any other outdoor activity. Just make sure you’re properly attired for the snow and you shouldn’t have any problem.

Conclusion

So really, there’s no excuse for you NOT to workout – especially if you want feast during the holidays. With a fitter body by the start of September, you’d have more room to enjoy the food for the holidays. If you’re still having a hard time, add a bit of fun to your workouts.

Perhaps take a happy stroll through the neighborhood and enjoy the winter weather? Volunteer to take your neighbor’s dog for a walk and you’ll also have a happy pooch at the end of the day. Bring in the child inside of your and play with the snow – the possibilities are endless.

Is a Gluten-Free Diet Really the Healthiest Option?

Hi angels!

There is so much noise and “facts” in the health industry. It can get super difficult to know what’s true and what isn’t! Over the coming weeks, I want to talk through some of the myths in the industry, and share the truth behind what marketing messages want you to believe!

Many people believe that adopting a gluten-free diet is really beneficial for their health… Even if they have no sensitivity or intolerance to gluten. So let’s dive into whether this is true or not…

What is gluten?

Gluten refers to a group of proteins found in grains such as wheat, barley and rye. Each type of grain contains a different amount of gluten and other proteins.

Eating a gluten-free diet

Many people have started to go for gluten-free options when it comes to choosing breads, pastas, cereals and other foods.

Why? A gluten-free diet has become popular thanks to social media and food marketing, with many people and brands promoting various health benefits of avoiding gluten.

Is it really beneficial?

Completely eliminating gluten is beneficial for people with coeliac disease and gluten intolerance (where the consumption of gluten can cause short-term bloating and abdominal pain). However, people without these diagnosed conditions who have adopted a gluten-free diet due to its perceived health benefits may experience negative consequences from going gluten-free.

What you may not know

  • Many gluten-free foods are not nutrient-enriched. They may be deficient in dietary fibre and various B Vitamins such as folate, iron, niacin, riboflavin, and thiamine.
  • Many gluten-free packaged foods contain higher levels of saturated and trans fats and salt than their gluten-containing counterparts, to help them taste better.
  • A gluten-free diet requires serious commitment, as it is somewhat restrictive. The stress involved in maintaining this diet may have a negative impact on your emotional health.
  • Strictly avoiding gluten with the intention of improving your health may encourage an obsessive or negative relationship with food.
  • Avoiding gluten for a period of time due to potential health benefits may actually create a sensitivity to the protein when you finally re-introduce gluten containing foods.

So what’s the alternative?

It’s super important to incorporate good sources of whole grains into your diet. Think sourdoughs, rye, seed breads, oats, brown rice and spelt! These whole grains contain plenty of fibre, to keep your gut happy and healthy, and your digestion strong and regular. They also have a bunch of B Vitamins in them, which are great for energy and supporting your nervous system.

Complex carbohydrate sources like these are a really important source of energy for your brain. People usually feel much better on these sources of carbs, instead of refined carbohydrates like white breads, sugars and white pasta.

I recommend having a serve of these complex carbohydrates with each meal, so you feel energised and at your best!

Bottom line, if you don’t need to avoid gluten for health reasons, it’s perfectly healthy to include in your diet as part of a balanced lifestyle!

Patrick Starrr Announces Launch of Inclusive Beauty Brand, One/Size

Beauty influencer Patrick Starrr has announced the launch of his own beauty line, called One/Size. The inclusive line – with the tagline, “Makeup is a one size that fits all” – will debut online at Sephora Canada on July 17 before hitting stores on July 30.

Speaking with WWD about the launch, Starrr (who has 4.6 million followers on Instagram and almost as many YouTube subscribers) said the line is a celebration of “the drag queens, the LGBTQ+, my trans brothers and sisters.” He added, “My identity as Patrick Starrr is a performance. It’s a performance art – that’s what I do as a YouTuber. My products [are] fashion meeting function. I dress like this to get noticed, I wear so much makeup to get noticed. What can I do that’s gonna get noticed but perform to the highest level when it comes to consumers and my audience investing their money in me and the brand.”

Diversity and inclusion are at the core of One/Size with Starrr saying the brand is “diversity, variety, for everyone. This is an overweight, bald, Asian American man. But I’ve somehow been able to break through the glass ceiling to be celebrated. It is all-encompassing diversity.”

The influencer revealed little else about the brand in the interview as he will unveil products and pricing via social media in the coming days. The brand is being launched in partnership with beauty incubator Luxury Brand Partners, which is the company behind cult haircare brand Oribe.

This isn’t Starrr’s first foray into the world of products – since 2017, he’s partnered with MAC Cosmetics on several successful collections.

Stay tuned to his Instagram page for all the latest updates on One/Size.
